March 17, 2010 Dear FPBS Customer, HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY!!! It feels like such a long time since one of these letters! We hope it finds you well :) Things are really happening around the bottle shop! As some of you may have noticed we're under construction at the Westside. We don't want to reveal too much but let's just say we're all really excited about the upcoming additions so stay tuned! Monday March 22nd: Terrapin Side Project #10 Cask at Aromas
YES! We've been waiting as patiently as possible for the next cool side project from Terrpain and the time is finally drawing near! Join the staff of Terrapin, Aromas, and Five Points Bottle Shops as we present Side Project #10 Cap't Krunkles Black India Pale Ale. Made with the malt bill of a stout and the hop bill of a big IPA, this one is sure to make it worth going down with the ship! The fun starts at 6pm at Aromas on South Milledge. Stop by and enjoy a pint for $4 while it lasts...and it does go fast! Cheers!
Wednesday March 24th: Wine Madness at Aromas
Who's your Kentucky and Who's your Duke? If you don't follow basketball here's your chance to get in on some of the March Madness fun! Join us at 6:30pm Monday March 22nd for an exciting evening of WINE COMPETITION! We will start with an elite 8 wines, then vote for the final four, then for the championship, and finally for one triumphant winner! Attendees will taste the wines and choose who moves on to the next round, filling out the bracket as we go. The cost is $15 per person which includes the wine and small tapas. Thursday April 1st: Eight on the 1st- Wines of Argentina at Casa Mia
Join us at Casa Mia on April 1st for some amazing Argentinian wines! We will be tasting eight different wines from some Argentina's finest vineyards. There will be live music compliments of Tino Garrido-Licha and of course Casa Mia's signature tapas. A representative from the winery will be on hand to guide you through the tasting experience. This event is meant to be casual and enjoyable for any and all wine drinkers regardless of experience. The event begins at 6pm and the last pour is at 8pm. If you can't be there exactly at six there'll be plenty to go around so come on by. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door . You can purchase tickets at both Five Points Bottle Shop locations and at Casa Mia downtown.
