We had a lovely time and hope you Congratulations to Emily and Jeanne for winning the gift certificates! We hope to see you ladies at one of our upcoming events. Speaking of which...we would like to clarify that the date for the DePalma's 15-4-$15 is THURSDAY January 28th (our original email had the wrong day of the week listed, oops). MONDAY January 18th: A Century of Tawny Port at Aromas
We couldn't think of a better place to host such an intimate and exciting tasting! Join us Monday January 18th from 7 to 9 pm at Aromas in Five Points for a truly awe-inspiring adventure into the world of tawny port! We will be tasting a 10 year old, 20 year old, 30 year old and 40 year old tawny port (which together represent an century of tawny). The cost of this tasting is only $20, a steal considering a bottle of 40 year old tawny can cost as much as $150 by itself. Aromas will be providing delectable nibbles to pair with the port so don't miss this opportunity!! There are only 20 seats available so jump to it folks! THURSDAY!! January 28th: 15 wines for $15 at DePalma's new Timothy Road location!
We are so excited to have our old pal DePalma's move into our neighborhood on the Westside! If you haven't had an opportunity to visit the new location you're missing out. It has all the charm and class of the Eastside and Downtown locations with a beautiful bar, big comfortable booths, and of course delicious food! Join us on Thursday January 28th from 6-8pm for one of our most popular events. This edition of 15 for $15 will highlight the wine menu at DePalma's new location right beside Agua Linda across from the old Target shopping center on Timothy Road. SUNDAY January 31st: Aromas Wake-n-Bake Off
That's right ladies and gentleman, a dessert bake-off! The required ingredient...BEER of course! The dessert must contain beer and will be judged on creativity, taste, and presentation. This competition is named for one of our favorite beers to bake with, Terrapin's Coffee Oattmeal Imperial Stout (formerly known as Wake - n - Bake), however, your entry may contain any beer of your choice. Aromas will be selling tickets to taste all the homemade wonders do you don't have to cook if you don't want to, just come and eat!
